We recently reported (26 May) that Simon, a former student of Trust High School and previously in the care of the foster home was involved, as a passenger, in a very serious boda boda motorbike accident which killed the driver.
We are delighted to report that Simon is now on the road to recovery because of concerned supporters who funded his surgery. He can now walk using crutches and is receiving weekly physiotherapy. By the end of August he should be able to walk unaided. Thank you for your love and concern.
Simon is a very good football player, but this may be the end of his football ambitions. But he is grateful to be alive, to be back on his feet and plans to resume his work as a tailor.
