Simon, now 20+, grew up in the Kabubbu foster home. Recently he was in a serious accident while on a boda boda – that’s a small motorbike taxi service. It’s the quickest but definitely not the safest way of travelling.
Simon was knocked off his boda boda by a car. The driver died shortly after reaching the Clinic. The Kabubbu ambulance was called, and Simon was rushed to Mulago hospital with a broken femur and head injuries.
Later he had successful surgery and some bone fragments were removed and metal plates fixed to support the bone.
We thank the Lord for the lady that donated the ambulance to the Kabubbu Health Centre some years ago and the Ugandan charity that provided his surgery.
So now QT only has to find £200+ for his medication and accommodation in hospital.
