The most unusual Christmas day I had was in 2006 when I was in primary six. It began, as usual, as people moved up and down buying cakes, meat, and drink. A day to celebrate for Christ is born.

After the church service, people normally take lunch then later in the evening they walk from all corners of the village to gather in the trading centre for a drink and entertainment. But in 2006 it was not the usual Christmas. The youths started cheering and they brought out three men from the village who never wash or have clean clothes. They publicly bathed them and washed their clothes, then each man was given new clothes by others in the village. It was an act of kindness to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. From that day onwards the three men started bathing.

What an amazing lesson we all learnt!
