– Peninah Mwagalwa, Nurse at Kabubbu Health Centre

‘At Christmas in Uganda we have a tradition of travelling from the towns and cities where we work to our villages, where we were born and raised. This is to visit our dear ones – our families. We must pay higher costs for transport than for other days because so many people travel.

I am always excited about Christmas because we go to visit ‘our’ village and meet our families and old friends.’
