However, the population of Uganda is estimated to be 25,000,000 higher at 46,961,305 based on the latest United Nations figures as reported by \u2018Countrymeters\u2019 on 27 April 2021.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s slightly more than a year since the first case of Covid-19 was registered in Uganda and the country has officially lost at least 341 lives to the pandemic with 41,715 cases.
