We are recruiting a number of voluntary positions to join our Board of Trustees. A special role in support of Kabubbu Kids – ensuring their progress from rags to resilience. Whether you’re an experienced Trustee or want to take your first step at Board level to make a difference to a small charity, we want to hear from you. Quicken Trust achieves its impact by partnering children in Kabubbu Uganda with supporters, mainly in the UK. Through a £30 per month partnership payment, partners contribute to the long-term support of a child’s education and primary healthcare. A significant infrastructure programme has run alongside the partnership programme during QT’s 20-year existence. In an ambitious development programme, resources including two schools, a vocational education centre, a health & AIDS support centre and church & community centre, now replace a solitary muddy stream. Our new Trustees will have skills in one or more of the following areas: Finance Marketing Fundraising Overseas development in education Medical skills For more information about volunteering as a Trustee with Quicken Trust contact geoff@quickentrust.com Who We are Pictured: Simon & Fiona Barnett, Trustees, visiting Kabubbu
