Travel Terms and Conditions
PLEASE NOTE: Quicken Trust does not function as a tour operator therefore cannot take responsibility for your travel, accommodation or programme in Kabubbu but it can assist you with helping you book your flights with British Airways (usually at reduced rates) and accommodation at the Kabubbu Resort plus volunteer project or holiday visit details. The shortest and only direct flight - 8½ hours - is with British Airways. Other international scheduled carriers may be cheaper but you will have to allow time to change planes and you may arrive in Uganda too late in the afternoon or evening to travel to Kabubbu so would need to allow for the extra cost of a night of accommodation at a hotel close to Entebbe Airport. Your travel and accommodation contracts will be with your chosen airline and the Kabubbu Resort & Conference Centre operated by the Kabubbu Development Project. Both will be responsible for providing their resources in line with the details you provide for which they have agreed availability.
Quicken Trust supports your visit to Kabubbu to learn about the community there and how Quicken Trust is helping through gifts and donations by fully subsidising its own costs related to your visit.
Law & Jurisdiction: These terms and conditions which the volunteer/traveller acknowledges having read and understood when asking Quicken Trust to facilitate their travel arrangements through Quicken Trust shall constitute the contract between Quicken Trust and each and every volunteer/traveller. It is agreed that this contract shall be governed by English law and every dispute hereunder shall be determined via the exclusive jurisdiction of the relevant County or High Courts of England.
