KABUBBU COMMUNITY PRIMARY SCHOOL

There are 400+ orphans in Kabubbu and many families so destitute that they cannot afford the school fee for even one of their children to receive a primary education. They have no income stream as they live on 'less than a $ a day'.

Opened in February 2002 for the 400+ orphans the school started with 60 sponsored children. Currently around 375 of the 500 children at KCPS are sponsored. They receive a full education, two meals a day, school uniform and free healthcare. This equals £24 per month per child sponsorship.

Thanks to generous sponsors they are enjoying an education that they could not afford.

Primary education lasts for seven years. If you can help support a child we would ask you to consider doing so for the duration of their education so that they can benefit fully.

The cost of running the school with all the teachers and necessary resources is currently around £4,000 each month. It has all the basic resources needed to educate the children but needs many more to broaden the children's education.

Please, can you help provide more orphans and destitute families with a vital education - the key to the future for these children?
