Fundraise

Hundreds of people have raised hundreds of thousands of pounds to help the Quicken Trust achieve its vision to transform the needy Ugandan village of Kabubbu. Could you be fundraiser for Quicken Trust?

Over the years dozens of schools, churches and businesses have got involved, including BABritish CouncilBede’s SchoolBurgess Hill School for GirlsGrazeRotary InternationalWelcome Baptist Church, Heathfield.

Quicken Trust supporters have taken part in events such as marathons or have climbed mountains or hiked hills to raise cash to save lives and bring hope to the village.  Why not become a marathon runner for Quicken at the annual Brighton Marathon, or run a similar event near you?

Others have taken a more eccentric route – for example, shaving off their hair for money!  Some have forfeited gifts and asked for donations instead to mark their golden wedding, birthday, or marriage celebrations.

It could be just you and a couple of friends sharing a cuppa and a cake – or a full open garden with cakes, plants and a raffle. You’ll have a great time whichever you choose, and your Open Garden will raise some vital income. Visitors could donate to enter your garden as well as donate towards their tea and cakes.

Your money could buy crucial equipment Your money could buy crucial equipment for the Parish Health Centre or the Welfare team or support Quicken’s projects in areas such as Agriculture or Adult Education. It might even encourage new sponsors to sign up.
